Mandatum’s corporate culture is based on a strong sense of community and mutual support, which are important factors behind the high employee satisfaction.
Mandatum has made it onto the list of Finland’s best workplaces for eleven consecutive years in the Great Place to Work Institute’s survey. In 2022, Mandatum made advances in developing the employee experience by introducing the Siqni personnel survey, which looks into the factors that are meaningful for the personnel and how they are achieved at the workplace. Mandatum’s Siqni index score was 83 (on a scale of 1–100), which entitles Mandatum to the Future Workplaces certificate. Organisations earn the certificate if their corporate culture is managed with an exceptionally high level of employee insight.

COLLABORATION WITH EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS
Mandatum continuously collaborates with various educational institutions through research work, internships, thesis work and company visits. Whenever possible, we participate in various recruitment fairs, arrange field trips and attend lectures at educational institutions as well as events hosted by student organisations. INTERNSHIPS
We annually offer Trainee positions to students mostly in the areas of sales, IT and customer service. The application period for Mandatum’s Trainee programme is in January and the application period for Mandatum Asset Management’s Investment Trainee programme is in August and September. We expect the applicants to be at least 18 years of age, to have completed studies in an applicable field and to be able to work a minimum of four months.
